Up for sale is a vintage red Dietz H-8 Comet lantern marked Syracuse, N.Y. Made in the United States of America. The Comet was first introduced in 1934 for the export market, was the smallest Cold Blast Lantern produced by Dietz, and was once adopted by the Boy Scouts for official use. It\'s approximately 8 1/2\" tall and appears to have the original wick still inside (refer to photos) however, not sure if it\'s in working condition.
