REBORN ARTIST YVONNE HARRELL

Welcome Baby

Kayley

Weight

4 lb 2 oz

Length

18 inches

Hello and thank you for visiting Tutus and Toy Soldiers Nursery.  Please allow me to tell you a little about myself.  My name is Yvonne and all of the babies you will see here were created by me.  I am now into my ninth year of reborning and I still get the greatest pleasure in watching these wonderful little creatures come to life.  Lots of love and many hours go into each and every creation.  My babies have been adopted by mommies from all over the world.  I use only the best quality materials and will never offer a baby that I wouldn\'t be proud to own myself.  I stand behind my babies and feel sure that you will not be disappointed in the quality and realism of each and every one.  My goal as a reborn artist is to always offer the most realistic baby possible and to continue to perfect my techniques.   Please join me now in welcoming the newest addition to Tutus and Toy Soldiers Nursery, Baby Kayley.

All of my babies are created using Genesis Heat Set Paints.  These paints are permanent, they will never fade, run or smudge assuring that years from now your baby will still look the same.  Each baby is painted with many thin layers of a combination of paints, thus texturing the skin to create a realistic skintone that looks like real, living, breathing skin. Some babies are mottled, depending on the age of the baby and the skintone I am trying to achieve.  Some have more smooth and even skintones.  Blushing, shading and highlighting are key to making these babies come to life.  When I have achieved the skintone I am striving for, I apply a matte finish to seal and protect the skin. Each baby is unique and no two will ever be the same assuring that you have a one of a kind creation.

I am pleased to announce the newest addition to Tutus and Toy Soldiers Nursery. Please help me welcome baby Kayley.   Kayley is a biracial baby.  I spent many, many hours creating this beautiful baby girl.   She has the most beautiful facial features and is just so sweet.  I enjoyed creating her and watching her little personality come to life with every layer of paint and every detail.  I\'m very pleased with the way she turned out and I hope you will fall in love with her, as I have.

Kayley has a new double jointed doe suede body which allows her to be posed in many different positions. She has 3/4 limbs which allow for her to wear those pretty little outfits that show off her arms and legs. Her body, limbs and head have been weighted with glass beads and filled with the softest fiberfil, then capped to prevent any leakage. I have distributed her weight to give her the feel of a real baby. Kayley loves to be cuddled and I think you will be happy to oblige.  Once you pick her up, you\'ll just want to cuddle her all day.

I\'ve given Kayley beautiful baby blue eyes framed with dark brown wispy baby lashes.  Her barely there eyebrows were painted one stroke at a time, then overlayed with a 3D medium to give them a more realistic effect.  Her lips were tinted with a mixture of paints to resemble the look of real baby lips. Her nose has been carefully opened then backed with felt to give her even more realism.

I\'ve given Kayley a thick head of curly medium brown mohair. It looks and feels so real.  Rooting hair is very time consuming but the results are well worth the time.  I have microrooted it with a 43 gauge needle, rooting just one to two strands at a time. This needle creates a small hole that makes the hair look as if it is actually growing from the baby\'s scalp.  I have triple sealed it on the inside with a waterproof sealant so that it can be dampened and styled. It\'s so easy to style. A simple spritz of water and flipping it out with a comb or with your fingertips and it\'s as good as new.

Kayley\'s skintone is amazingly realistic. Her skintone was achieved by applying combinations of many thin layers of Genesis Paints. There are many, many layers of color to create the biracial skintone. All of her little creases have been highlighted.  Her tiny nails, complete with tiny half moons, have been tipped and sealed and glossed for protection.
