I start each doll with an idea of what i want him or her to look like. i usually choose sculpt because they remind me of a child i have had in my care. sometimes i change details, like hair or eye color, but i usually stay true to the little one resembling the sculpt. i take a lot of pictures of the children i have with me while they are in foster care. i do this for 2 reasons, first of course is for the children to have a visual record of their time with our family, second is so i can reflect on the pictures for my dolls. i try to give my dolls are many realistic details aspossible. i hope you enjoy looking at the pictures, and maybe even seeing these beautiful dolls in person. there is much love and heart put into every single one.
