Rare Yamaha Ns-1000x Pair Japan Speakers For Sale

<div style=\"text-decoration:none\" target=\"_blank\"><img height=\"27px\" valign=\"middle\" align=\"center\"><font face=\"arial\" target=\"_blank\"><img class=\"p1\">Rare pair of Yamaha NS-1000X Japan made speakers. Last NS-1000 version before the ultimate NS-10000. Upgraded from the original design was the carbon fiber woofer with an NS-1000 M diecast frame but Sans front grill allowing a lower frequency response (39 Hz versus 40 Hz) with the resonance frequency placed at the same lower limit 39 Hz for the 1000 and 40 Hz for the 1000 X . Said 30 cm bass unit has edge-wound OFC copper voice coils and a 10,500 G flux density. The 4.5 cm high density particle closure was a largely reinforced at 42 kg (versus 31 kg), and covered with real walnut veneer painted in black. Already added to the NS-2000, 16 gauge OFC filter wiring was kept on this version of the 2000. The in-line arrangement of the drivers was retained from the NS- 2000.The mid and high Beryllium drivers are slightly different version of those in NS-2000. At the time the NS-1000X was launched two zeros below, a beefed up version of the 1977 NS-10M started to invade most of the recording studios on planet earth. No beryllium there but worldwide success just the same. Numbers wise, if the original 1000 is still abundant to say the least, the 2000 and 1000 X are far less common the 1000XW being of the ultra rare kind. The 1000X was used by luxman as reference speakers as late as 1997 along with a pair of JBL K2 M9500\'s.

This pair of NS-1000x speakers are in excellent working condition. They come from the state of a pair of eccentric retirees of the US Yamaha corporation. I was lucky enough to purchase an entire Yamaha system which they purchased upon their retirement. Long story short these were not used much at all. They do show some wear. Please see pictures. Amazing sound must hear to believe.
