Rare R.R.P.Co. (Robinson-Ransbottom) Art Pottery Cookie Jar For Sale

Thischeerful cookie jar is a unique pottery piece that was produced by theRobinson-Ransbottom Pottery Company, of Roseville, Ohio, an art pottery companythat was formed in 1920. Measuringapproximately 7 ½” in height (including the lid) by 8 ½” in diameter, thiscookie jar features an ivory background with black and yellow concentric ringsand a three-footed base. It is incised witha mark on the base that reads, “R.R.P.Co. Roseville, O. U.S.A.”. This is a very clean piece of art pottery withonly a few minor flaws, such as manufacturing glaze skips and drips, and asmall chip to the inner lip of the lid (shown in photos). It is an impressive pottery piece that remainsin great condition with no other evidence of damage. This is a stunning art pottery piece and a delightful cookie jar!
