Offered is an original 1899 game-used college football from the Nov. 11th game, when the Pennsylvania Quakers hosted the Michigan Wolverines at Franklin Field, and this football originated directly from the estate of Michigan\'s Captain from 1899, Allen Steckle. The imageof theteam shows Steckle holding this very football, which was prior to him inscribing his name & painting flowers on the ball. The football wasdonated to the famous Pretzel Bell campus bar / restaurant in Ann Arbor directly from Steckle\'s family, and this is the earliest known game-used Michigan football to be offered publicly. Please Note that this listing is just for the football (not the team photo), but an image of Steckle holding the ball will be included, along with the original Pretzel Bell document (as shown), and this football belongs in themost advanced Michigan Wolverines collection or a museum.
