So here is something you don\'t see everyday!!! For your consideration thisVintage 1940\'s Misspelled New York Yankees Blue Felt Pennant Banner. This banner came from overseas in the 1940\'s (China or Japan, I believe). The object was to mimic a New York Yankees sliding player pennant/banner, but the manufacturer misspelled the team name. Family members living in overseas in the 1930\'s & 1940\'s brought it back as a souvenir. It is super rare. The pennant/banner is in decent vintage condition, given the age. It measures approx. 11\" at widest point and is approx 25\" in length. The material is a dark blue felt. There is some color bleeding on the end (see photos). This piece would be amazing in any baseball, sports or Yankee fan collection. I doubt you will ever see another one like like!!!
