The shell is brand new, from Pearl\'s acrylic drum series called \"Crystal Beat.\" This shell is BRAND NEW, while the rest of the drum (hoops, aluminum ring, etc.) have been used. (Everything BUT the new shell was obtained as part of a Pearl Copper Free-Floating 5\" x 14\" Snare, and I just wanted the copper shell since they are no longer manufactured by Pearl).
