I sold this quite awhile ago for $300, however unfortunately the plate was cracked in two during shipping and another arm beneath the plate has broken. I\'m sure there\'s people out there who can salvage the parts or perhaps even repair this to working condition. There is some light rust which can clearly be seen in the orange hue. Originally this was black with gold detailing. Much of this black patina and gold detail remains but it is far from complete. This weighs near 30 pounds (shipping will be based upon buyer location since it is so heavy). There is an April 6, 1893 patent date as well as patent numbers for England, France and Germany. I am not real familiar with these letter presses, so I won\'t be able to answer technical questions. This would need a fair amount of TLC to bring it back to life, but there are inevitably some good parts on here that can be used to go that route. Shipped based upon buyer location (shipping something this heavy out West can be very expensive). If I\'m able to find a cheaper option than the one automatically calculated (USPS Parcel) then that will be used and I will pass savings onto you.
Payment
I have had to take precautions because of people not paying. You will have 4 days to pay, then an unpaid item case will be opened. From this point you will have another 4 days to pay. That\'s EIGHT total days, however if you don\'t pay the case will close and show on your record. At this time the item will be offered to the next highest buyer or re-listed. A case HAS to be opened to recoup selling fees.Shipping
I only ship within the US or to eligible Countries through the Global shipping program (however I don\'t use this for all items). If it doesn\'t say I ship to your Country in shipping details, then I won\'t, no exceptions, sorry. The shipping service will depend on the buyers location and the package weight. I predominantly use Priority Mail unless an item qualifies for First Class, however I will use Parcel Select in some instances particularly if you live out West (I am based outside of Buffalo, NY). I am not a business and I reuse boxes and packaging so my packages aren\'t always the prettiest, but I do spend a lot of time and effort in ensuring items are packed with care, handled fast and shipped using an expedited service.offers/Offers
I will NOT end items early via accepting a buy it now price or even respond to people offering amounts in exchange for me ending the item early. If I am selling an item via sale it will not end prematurely unless I made a mistake in the listing or the item was lost/broken. For fixed price listing please do not ask what my lowest acceptable price is. I will either accept an offer, not accept the offer or counteroffer. Please keep in mind I like to use free shipping and shipping prices fluctuate quite a bit. This is a consideration during offers. I may sell an item cheaper to someone closer to me opposed to someone offerding out West because the shipping may be a lot cheaper. If an item is heavy, the shipping out West is very expensive.Returns/Refunds
I offer returns on all items except for items that are being sold broken for parts/fix. You will have 14 days from the time you receive it to return it, no questions asked. If you simply don\'t like it or it doesn\'t fit then you are accountable for the return shipping. If i make an error in the listing (and I will from time to time) then I will pay for the shipping back to me. I will make mistakes. However, threatening to escalate cases etc. isn\'t very effective with me. Just return the item, I will refund you every time. I didn\'t get 100% response by deceiving people on purpose or taking shortcuts.response
I generally leave response AFTER the buyer. This is just a little extra confirmation that you received the item and you\'re happy with it. Regardless, many people still don\'t leave response but after a period of time (enough time where I can assume the item isn\'t getting returned) I will leave positive response whether you have or not.
I am not a business, but an individual who enjoys selling on very much. This is not my occupation, more a hobby. I source items from all over. Estate sales, garage sales, liquidations, sales, consignments for friends and occasionally maybe even something from the side of the road.
