Original Model 1894 German Mannlicher Knife Bayo converted to Fighting Knife For Sale

Here is an Original, Vintage, Model 1894 German Mannlicher Knife Bayonet that was converted to a Trench Fighting Knife! The Bayonet was modified by filling in the rifle slot and push button with lead, then milling the barrel slot down to eliminate the barrel mounting section. The Bayonet/Fighting knife is marked on the blade with \"CE/WG\" and the guard appears to be numbered 17645. The knife bayonet is 14-1/2\' in overall length, the bright steel blade being 9-1/2\" in length. The wooden, riveted handle is in decent shape with some dings on the top and it appears to have \"117\" carved into the side? Unit or number of personal kills? This bayonet was converted into a WW1 Era Trench fighting knife. Sorry, no scabbard with this piece. The knife is generally in Fine+ Condition.
