Original Antique Coca Cola Cooler Glascock Store Fixture Ice Box Chest For Sale

Wow! What a Great find! This is an original Coca Cola Cooler produced by Glascock Bros. back in the day (1929-1930). 

DESERT, TEXAS is in far northeast Collin County. The town, settled about 1890, has the same name as the creek that runs just outside it. A post office was established in 1893 but was discontinued in 1904. For most of its history Desert has served area farmers as a retail point, providing a general store, a school, a church, and a gristmill. The population of the community, never more than 100, was twenty-five from 1933 through 2000.

The General store in Desert is where this Coca Cola cola came from. Homer Gentry owned it and a man from Bailey Texas purchased it. We purchased it from his estate. So we are only the 3rd owner. You could be the 4th.

The cooler is about 40\" tall by 32\" wide and 24\" deep. It is in good shape for it\'s age. And seems to be in original condition. It even has the Cola Cola logo on the underneath.
