Old Gould Shapley Muir Hit Miss 3 1/2hp Gas Engine Flyball Governor Steam NICE For Sale

This is an outstanding original 3 1/2hp hopper cooled Gould Shapley and Muir hit and miss gas engine. It is a large size engine for 3 1/2hp and is in excellent condition as can be seen in the photos. It runs great and has a very unique fuel injection system on it. It also has a very unique governor on it and coasts against compression like an Otto engine giving it a very distinct sound. It has one very slight crack in the head which I don\'t believe leaks and also a very old repair on the fuel injector body as can be seen in the photos. Otherwise it has no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I am aware of. It has the original muffler, crankguard, oiler, and skids with it and retains a great portion of its original paint. It has a brass bodied WebsterK magneto on it. These are very desirable engines and are sure attention getters at the shows! These engines rarely turn up for sale and they are almost never this nice and original. Check out a \"youtube\" video of one running and I think you\'ll like it!
