Old Antique Brass Ornate Design Single Arm Student Oil Lamp w/ Lux Dux Flame Spreader

Presented for your consideration is this beautiful antique student oil lamp. The lamp is made completely of brass and features an intricate, ornate pattern around the font and base with ornate brass ornament pieces in between the burner and font. Bottom of the lamp is weighted to prevent the lamp from falling over. Flame spreader is marked with \"Patented Lux-Dux July 24, 1888.\" No other markings are on the lamp to indicate a manufacturer. Takes 10\" shades and chimneys with a 2 1/2\" fitter.This neat lamp would make a great addition to any lighting collection or a nice lamp to use.
It appears as though a piece (possibly a cap of some sort) may be missing on the bottom of the burner tube. Brass has been polished. There is some bending around the top of the font holder and interior of the font holder has some wear present. Light wear is present from age and use. Overall in VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT condition.
Measures 18 1/2\" wide, 10 3/8\" deep at the shade holder and 15 3/4\" tall.
