NICE WOODEN AIRLINE VINTAGE ANTIQUE TUBE RADIO - \"INDIANHEAD DESIGN\" PLAYS GREAT For Sale

Here is a nice wooden Airline radio model 62-425 with the famous \"INDIANHEAD design \" . It measures 10 1/2 X 7 1/4 X 6 1/2 inches with the knobs. Built around 1938 with a nicely designed case. The cabinet is in good shape but appears to have been refinished sometime long ago. The finish shows very minimal wear. The dial, bezel and knobs are in great shape. The grill cloth appears to be a nice replacement and looks awesome in the radio. The chassis has 4 tubes and a 5Z4 ballast tube. It is an AM band only radio. It picks up stations across the dial with good volume with just a short antenna wire attached. The dial lights up nicely. The previous owner serviced the chassis replacing any weak or defective parts as well as installed a new AC power cord with new vintage style AC plug. It still retains original factory label on the inside of the case as well part of a factory warning tag. A nice radio to be played and displayed. Sold as is. Buyer pays shipping.
