nice lot of two compacts, unused, Van Ace, enamel, box, gold filled Birks, 1930s For Sale

A lot of two compacts! The round compact measures 2-1/2\" and is gold filled with beautiful swirls and flower all over the top. The back is plain. It has a nice tight closure. I haven\'t polished it. The inside has a mirror on one side and the opposite side has the powder screen and puff, barely used. The back is marked \"gold filled Birks.\" No dents or dings and the gold coloring is very bright and shiny. Nice 1930s compact! The other compact is 3-1/2\" x 2-1/4\" and a rectangle shape with curved sides. It is a gold tone unused Van Ace Fifth Avenue compact. The lid has yellow, pink and green enamel flowers. The back has a line design. It\'s very shiny, I haven\'t polished it. Tiny discoloration spots on the front, doesn\'t detract. The inside has a mirror on one side and the opposite side has the lift up section for powder, with puff. It\'s marked Van Ace on the inside lid. Has the original signed box. Sweet 1930-40s compact. I will combine shipping costs in the US. Outside US buyers please contact me for actual shipping costs and I will combine shipping costs for up to five sales, before a box becomes too heavy and costly to ship! I ship international first class with a customs form through the post office. Cost starts at $16 as I ship in a sturdy cardboard box.
