If you ever had trouble with holding a bit with dangling bit hangers in your hand while trying to put the bit into your horse\'s mouth of a regular halter bridle, but like the idea of being able to take the bit off and leave the halter on easily. Than this may be the solution for you.

Instructions for one way to create a halter bridle combo:

Just put any halter you have on your horse.

• Using a regular headstall(no throatlatch) that you own, run the poll piece throughthe interiorVelcrolined loops of the browband.You can choose to put the poll piece through 3 positions in the interior loop - forward, middle or back of the loop, by moving the clear keeper bands. Move the clear keeper bands close to each side of your poll piece to create a snug fit. See item description pictures near the end to view detail blow up of loop and poll piece insertion.
• Bridle your horse like you normally would a regular bridle (without throatlatch).
• Use the snap attachments to wrap around the poll piece of your halter on each side and snap to the browband.
• You now have a halter bridle combo.
• The bit is easy to remove without having to take the halter off.
• No throat latch necessary.
• It is fun to mix match your own collection of rope or web halters to create different combinations of halter bridles.
• With theVelcrolining in the interior loops and the slider keeper bands, you can remove the browband and put it on a halter to bling up rope or web halters and hackamores without having to worry about the browband sliding down the sides.
• We have also been told by some of our friends that the snap attachments make it easier for them to bridle an ear shy horse, when you get the appropriate size.

Materials:

• 3/4\" gloss black, high flex style Biothane that is light weight; resistant to staining or abrasions and cracking. Middle weight strength. Made by Bioplastics company in the USA.
• Blue Turquoise, Wild Animal Print ribbon that has Craftstabilizerbacking and vinyl fabric laminate on top to adddurabilityis sewn on. Same laminate used to make those fashionable craft diaperbags.Dirt just wipes or rinses off.
• Non Rusting, Silver Colored, Quality Line 24 snaps, made in the USA.
• Silver Colored, engraved heart concho with acrylic, glass and plated bead strands.
• Interior loops are lined withVelcroand have adjustable power bands that keep the interior loop tight around what is inserted in them which keeps the browband from sliding down on most poll pieces as well as being able to size the interior loop down small to handle a variety of widths of poll pieces like rope halters or hackamores and up to 1.5\" wide poll pieces!
• Browband is linedwith black , high quality, Weaver Leather brand nylon webbing . This helps put a nice soft layer next your horse\'s head that gets even softer when moist.
• Please be aware that picture colorscan varydepending upon different monitor display settings as well as items photograph differently in full sunlight versus in the shade versus indoors.

Measurements ( see below)-

• 16\" between loops on browband running along the top of the browband (Does not count the Loop length!)
• 2\" each interior Velcro lined loops on browband. These loops are positioned and used like loops on a regular browband. Room for 2 poll pieces side by side or one wide poll piece if desired. Wide enough to fit a Wintec Dressage Crown piece.
• 2\" each exterior loop created by snap on browband
• Squished Flat, snaps shut, running along the the top of the browband this is about 21.75\" end to end.
• 
  To estimate whether this will fit your horse.

• Get a regular straight non padded browband that fits your horse now.
• Measure across the front of the brow band between the 2 poll piece loops. This corresponds to the 16\" measurement for this browband. It takes about 1 to 2 inches extra length to make the V from the length measured for a straight browband, so add 1 or 2 inches to get the fit measurement for a V browband.
• The interior loop of 2\" corresponds to the loop on your browband. There are keeper bands that you can move to position the poll or crown piece in the interior loop towards the front, middle or back of the loop for a better fit and keep the loop tight around the poll piece.
• If you will NOT be using the interior loops to hold up the browband, and will only be using the snap loops it is VERY important to compare the end to end measurement with a current browband that fits to make sure this will not be too BIG!!
• Please be aware that if you are wrapping the snap loop around a wide halter that the browband will be pulled backwards, so will need a little extra length, compared to just being used with a 1\" bridle poll piece or rope halter bridle configuration.
• PLEASE MEASURE your horse, because I have had people that had ponys whose forehead measured out at 16\" wide and warmbloods that measured only 12\" wide!!!!!!!!!
• This is the size that is sold a lot for most horses that can wear off the rack \"average size horse browbands\" when the interior loops are used to hold up the browband, if only the exterior loops are used to wrap around a poll piece as in the case of an ear shy horse, it will fit a larger size forehead, The last picture shows an Arabian wearing a 15\" V with Zilco tack set up as a quick change, add on, halter bridle combination.
• The last picture shows an Arabian wearing a 15\" V with the zilco endurance headstall poll piece run through the interior slots of the browband and snapped around the halter. Most browbands that I sell for Arabian horses are 14\" to 15\". A 16\" usually fits my ARABxWarmbloods or APHA Eventing horses that wear off the rack average horse sizecommercialbridles and usually fits most average to large horses. If a V is too long, it will dip down lower in the middle of the forehead. IF it is too tight, it will hug the ears and tip upward like a visor. IF you need a different size I will be posting more sizes in different browbands based upon email requests

Care Instructions:

• Easy Care, just rinse off with cold water and hang to dry after a ride.
• Using WD40 occasionally on snaps will keep them working better
• Tarnish on jewelry/hardware can be polished off with jewelry metal polish
• Never Soak or use harsh chemicals or Oxyclean on coated or plated jewelry beads or decor.
