Spot checking these amplifiers @ 2.450GHz showed the output power was still over 90W and at 2.5GHz over 50W.These were original designed to operate @ 48VDC, but can best be used @ 24-26V without removing the internal DC-DC converter supply. This method allows use of the internal 15W linear driver board that operates @ 13V which is supplied from the DC-DC board. Putting this amp to use only requires a few steps that first include mounting a blower with manifold along the back edge for cooling once the multi-pin connector is removed. You will want to use a \"N\" connector with .141 hard-line to SMA male for the output. The input connection can be made to the driver board (see photo of the driver board) by adding a SMA connector to the .086 hard-line.26V power should be brought in to the 2 terminal screws marked GND and +26V on the power distribution board using #10 stranded wire. The only other things which need to be done is one point to point jumper so the enable on the driver board will also enable the PA boards and one jumper from the driver board for use as your PPT/KEY input. This enable is a logic input and enables the amp when pulled to ground. The amplifier will draw .4A when disabled and 50 amps plus when enabled Input drive required is about 5dBm for full power output. This amplifier can be used down to 2.2 and up to 2.5GHz at reduced power and gain. Instructions for ham use are supplied with this amplifier. You must be a ham with current call sign to purchase this amplifier ora from a company wishing to use the amp for a industrial application such as an RF source for microwave bonding ETC. Amplifiers will be shipped in the original manufactures box with a total weight of 37 pounds. I only sell the GOOD amplifiers with the latest config. codes AGAQAM or AGAQAK and known good circuit board revisions. If you find these amplifiers with configuration codes for sale elsewhere other than AGAQAM or AGAQAK you can be sure they will have defective driver boards. KI4NPV
