The focal point of the necklace is the 1 3/4\" white mother-of-pearl pendant. The pendant is an elongated marquis shape with a nice Navajo design base. The shell is beautifully polished to shimmer! There are a few hints of pinks and greens. The 18\" link chain fastens with a spring ring clasp marked 925 and another mark, probably for the maker, but I can\'t make it out. The back of the pendant is stamped sterling AB for Navajo artisan Alex Begay. Guaranteed sterling silver! Totally the piece weighs about 5.5 grams. The chain is in excellent condition and the pendant only shows fine scratches in the silver on the back. I did find a scratch at the bottom of the shell piece, but it seems to be well hidden in the shimmer of the piece. This is an amazing price! Perfect to keep for yourself - Perfect to give as a gift!
