Description

A majestic continental porcelain figure depicting Napoleon Bonaparte seated upon a rearing white horse. Inspired by the famous painting \"Crossing the Alps\" by Jacques Louis David c.1801.

The figure is well modelled and has been skilfully hand painted. Possibly Italian Capodimonte otherwise from one of the German makers. Dates 20th century.

 Size & Weight

Measures 11\" 28cm tall. Measures 8 1/2\" 22cm long. Measures 5\" 12.5cm deep. Weighs 1600 grams.

The figure is in good condition with no cracks, chips or restoration.
