Model Shipways Grand Banks Fisherman Benjamin W Latham 1902 Wood Model

Model Shipways, Bogota, NJ. Made in USA. 1949, 1961. 1965 issue. Wood with metal fittings. Exact scale unknown. Drawings are in 1/8” scale (1/8” = 1 foot?). Hull is approx. 12” long and 2-3/4” abeam at widest part. 

This kit appears to be an early Model Shipways kit, circa 1960s. The subject is a Grand Banks Fisherman from 1902. This kit has not been built and appears to be mostly complete. The hull is pre-formed solid wood and un-cut wood parts are here along with lots of die-cast parts, bags of metal fittings, 3 un-used cards of rigging and some wire. Includes  instruction/plans sheet, sail rigging sheet and 4 pages of construction notes. All parts are clean and unused. There is a sail plan but no sail stock is in this kit and it may be miossing. Box has a good amount of shelf dirt and wear but no splits.
