Offered for sale is an excellent/mint Lyman Model 56 MB receiver sight from the 1950\'s. The sight has \"stayset knobs\" and is designed to fit the following MARLIN rifles:
The Model 1893, 1894, and the Model 36 (all calibers). With the small dished-out area on the inside of the base it also fits the Model 39 and 39-A .22 rifles. I removed it from a Golden 39-A which it fitted perfectly. I installed a Weaver K-4 on the rifle.
The sight has 1/4 minute clicks, a .500\" eyepiece with a .3975 aperature and was last catalogued by Lyman in 1959.
The sight is in excellent to mint condition. Everything works perfectly and there are NO burred screws.
