I see a tiny hairline surface crack in the plastic part between the rails and the Motor/Lens portion. Dad saysit works like the dayit wasbrand new.Please look at pictures carefully, they are part of my description. I took photos of everything I\'m selling individually. You will get the EXACT item seen in the photos. Only what is seen is what you are offerding on. We always stored our Lionel carefully when not in use, no rust, water damage, or mice pee corrosion found here.((DAD\'s NOTE: This is complete and tested to working good. Hopefully a collector can put it to good use.)) Comes from my father\'s personal collection, but probably was purchased used by him many, many years ago. In the 60\'s and 70\'s my father collected trains to run for us kids. Back then you could buy used Lionel items from the 40\' - 50\'s - 60\'s and it still looked and ran like brand new. My father also studied under a Lionel licensed Repair Shop person, and although never applied for his own license, he was the man when it came to Lionel Train upkeep and repair. Dad always kept his stuff stored carefully, lubed often, and cleaned to keep rust from getting a strong hold on the metal. Now us kids are grown and long gone from home, and Dad is ready to start selling his Train stuff, a little bit at a time. It\'s a crazy large collection, so I may have listings for many months/years from him as I sell them. He isn\'t using them now, but it\'s still hard for him to part with them. Please be patient.
