THE DISPLAY CONSISTS OF: A 9\" X 10\" 1970 TOPPS POSTER; A SIGNED TRIMMED INDEX CARD (MEASURES 2\" X ALMOST 3 1/2\"), IN GOOD CONDITION, WITH 2 SMALL PIECES OF TAPE AT THE TOP; BROCK\'S STATS FROM THE BASEBALL ENCYCLOPEDIA. THE 3 ITEMS ARE MOUNTED BEHIND THE RED POSTER BOARD MATTE.

LOU BROCK WAS A LEFT FIELDER FOR 19 YEARS IN THE MAJOR LEAGUES: WITH THE CHICAGO CUBS FROM 1961-1964; AND THEN WITH THE ST. LOUIS CARDINALS FROM 1964-1979. HE WAS A 6-TIME ALL-STAR, A 2-TIME WORLD SERIES CHAMPION, AND LED THE LEAGUE SEVERAL TIMES IN STOLEN BASES. BROCK APPEARED IN 2,616 GAMES, COLLECTED 3,023 HITS, AS WELL AS 938 STOLEN BASES (STOLE 118 IN 1974). HE RETIRED WITH A LIFETIME BATTING AVERAGE OF .293. THE CARDINALS HAVE RETIRED HIS UNIFORM #20. LOU BROCK WAS INDUCTED INTO THE BASEBALL HALL OF FAME IN 1985.
