This bat has additional historic value of being used in the Cubs' 100th regular season win of the 2016 season (9/26/2016).This rare matte-finish Chandler Model KB17 Maple bat exhibits heavy game use, including heavy ball and others marks on all sides of the barrel and pine tar with caked in white caulk on the handle and upper handle. All key specs are stamped into the barrel below Bryant's facsimile signature, including caliper readings, production date (08-24-16) and length and weight (34/31). Knob bears markered notations reading, "KB17 (bat model), 17 (uniform number), 31.1 (weight)," while the cupped barrel end has Bryant's uniform number "17" written in black marker.
MLB has authenticated the bat as last used on September 26, 2016 in the first inning where it splintered into two pieces on a fly out with MLB Hologram Numbers JC102488 (barrel) and JC102487 (handle). Resolution Photomatching has also photomatched the bat as used in the first inning on 9/26/2016, and the Resolution Photomatching match LOA is included with the sale.
9/26/2016 was the Cubs' 100th regular season win in the historic 2016 season.
The bat was repaired by MLB before I acquired it directly from MLB, and the bat is firmly in one piece.

For valuation, the listing photos also include a Cubs sale result of a different 2016 used Kris Bryant Chandler bat that sold on 11/27/16 for $7,760 plus tax to Illinois buyers. Goldin sales has saleed two 2016 used Kris Bryant Chandler bats and they both sold for $5,700 despite both bats not being authenticated by MLB.
