Very good condition original Italian Model 1871 Vetterlibayonet that still has a full length 20 ½” blade, NOT shortened. Bayonet is markedwith a crowned TA proof on the blade for production by TORRE ANNUNZIATA.Bayonet has mixed brown, gray, and bright metal finish. Blade has beensharpened. Composite grips have a good tight fit and no damage. Lock springfunctions fine. Tough to find these Italian Vetterli bayonets with a fulllength blade, as many were modified during WWI. Will make a fine addition toyour collection.
