Handsome 1940s Gray Fedora W Teardrop Crown, by Douglas Parker Sz 7 Rare Maker For Sale

Genuine vintage fedora, a handsome one at that! Dates from around the 1940s time period. Classic man\'s fedora, made of fine quality fur felt, a nice gray color, with a teardrop crown and 2 side bashes. A hard to find maker, this hat bears the gild gilt stamp on the leather sweatband and on the attractive satin lining DOUGLAS PARKER HATS. Trimmed with a black silk grosgrain/petersham hatband and side bow. Crown is very nicely bound and edged in gray silk grosgrain ribbon. PLEASE NOTE that the gray silk edging (and black hatband ) is excellent, no discoloration or spotting, and in some photos my camera flash is reflecting and creating what look to be spots (they are not). The brim can flip up or down, and I show it flipped up in back for a classic look. Interior has a leathers sweatband and full satin lining with an Art Deco pattern to the logo. No size marked, measures 22\" around the inside circumference. Shows some age to the interior, not perfect but still a great hat and worthy of a new life.
