Hamilton Model 21 Chronometer with both boxes & runs well For Sale

A very nice Hamilton Model 21 Chronometer with both inner & outer boxes, in good running condition. The chronometer and both boxes show normal wear from being used and being at sea--minor scratches to both boxes and some minor corrosion to external brass parts (see photos). The internal chronometer components are in excellent condition. It has been run infrequently over the years that I\'ve had it and always keeps very precise time--off by maybe a couple of seconds over 48 hours. The proper----probably the original--key is also included. The strap on the outer box is in great shape with no cracking, so it might be a replacement at some point in the life of this chronometer.

I don’t need to go into the design and superb quality of a Hamilton Model 21, as you wouldn’t be interested in an sale for one if you didn’t understand what a mechanical marvel they are.
