Gorgeous Circa 1900 Vintage Hand Made Hand Beaded Black Fabric Reticule Purse For Sale

This isa gorgeous vintage reticule or handbag.Circa 1900 or earlier. No labels or tags, it is hand made. it\'s a mix of hand & machine stitching & is hand beaded. It is a very clever design. Of two squares of fabric sewn together on the edges. The top square has an X shaped opening. In each corner & in the center of the bottom square is a beaded tassel. The fabric handles are attached to the points of the X in the top square. When held by the handles the tassels pull the bottom down, forming a bag shape!Both the top & bottom square are beaded with glass seed beads in a lovely flower & vine pattern. The bag measures10\" square when laid flat. Handle drop is7\".It is ingreat condition. I don\'t see any flaws, stains, wear, tear or soil. No missing beads. Just gorgeous!
