Giancarlo Stanton 2017 MLB Hologram Used Marucci G27s Custom Cut \"M\" (Professional Model) Bat - 59 HR Season. This bat was used by Stanton during the 2017 season in which Stanton was NL MVP and became the sixth player in MLB history to hit 59 home runs in a season. Bat is authenticated by MLB Hologram #JC281597 as last used by Stanton on 9/16/2017.
This all-black bat displays excellent use. There are several ball marks and stitch impressions on the barrel, along with an impression of a weighted donut. Other marks on the barrel include blue ink transfers, white leather scuffs, and cleat impressions. There are also two blades of grass caked into the bat\'s tar. On the lower handle is a coating of Mota Stick. There is a mark on the handle that identifies the grain, which has been mandatory per Major League Baseball for all maple bats. Stamped on the knob are the date of manufacture “08/21/17” , Stanton’s number “27” , the length “5” (for 35 inches) and weight “2.0” (for 32 ounces). Bat has a crack on upper handle but swings firm and has no repair tape.
