I’ll forget is a genuine and completely authentic championship ring from the Venezuelan winter league 2000-2001 season. The title that year was one by the Lara Cardinals, One of the top teams in winter ball. The Glover whose name appears on the site was Gary Glover, a journeyman American pitcher who, like many players, went to Venezuela to play  winter ball in the off-season. Baseball is extremely popular in Venezuela, and it is quite common to see extremely good major-league players there during the winter;  The league has historically boasted such greats as Roy Campanella, Martin Dihigo, Satchel Paige, and Luis Aparicio. Glover, who was a right-handed pitcher, spent eight seasons in the major leagues with six teams, then went on to play in Japan and Australia.
