Sophia is an extremely realistic solid silicone baby. She is an amazing little girl and unique as her head moves easily from side to side with a natural looking neck and not a neck joint. She can pose easily and lay on her tummy with her head turned to left or right. Her cute floppy head needs to be supported just like a real newborns. She has been poured from head to toe in one complete piece for realism and strength in soft but strong ecoflex 20 silicone. Her tiny fingers can easily reach her mouth and she loves to suck on each of them, Oh what a site! Each tiny finger and toe can be moved independently from each other. She is 18inches long and weighs 5lbs 12oz. She is shown in a newborn size dress and preemie size pajamas as she can do both sizes. Sweet Sophia has soft, micro rooted hair, in dark brown angora mohair. Each strand was placed one at a time for extra realism and for ease of brushing and styling. The hair cannot be glued so care must be taken that it is not pulled out with rough treatment. But if brushed gently it will stay in place. She has been painted, sealed and matted for a velvety and low shine finish. She can be bathed with water but should not be scrubbed as her skin could peel. She is soft and flexible and her unique sculpt makes her able to pose in your arms the way you would hold a real infant. She was sculpted, poured, painted and rooted all by me. Being handmade she has some small imperfections such as uneven areas. She is one of the most beautiful and truly realistic sculpts. Sweet Sophia\'s very realistic mouth is sculpted with gums and a tongue and she can take a newborn pacifier and regular bottle nipple, and she loves to suck her thumbs of course. She comes with a lovely layette fit for a little princess. All the outfits she is pictured in will be sent home with her as well as a few extra outfits and gifts. This little girl is so lovable and truly remarkable. Because of the cost of shipping no returns will be accepted.
