Excellent Cox Thimble Drome RR-1 .049 Nitro Airplane Engine for C/L or FF For Sale

This sale is foraRare and inExcellent ConditionCox RR-1 Rear Rotor .049 Glow Engine that has excellent compression, turns smoothly and shows no significant marking other than the normal RR-1 scuffing where the mounting screws were rubbed against the tank during mounting. This engine has Very Little running time and has languished in the collection of engines belonging to my father and me for over 55 years.With itsminimal running(@1960)and aside from the slight scuffs on the tank itlooks and feelslike the day it came from the box.

The needle valve has a white paint \"reference mark\" put there by either my father or me so I am including a new needle valve alongwith the original still installed in themotor. Also included is a new Rev-Up 6 x 4 Wooden Power Prop from the era of the engine and an overhaul kit (for CoxGolden Bee)that will provide new tank screws and gasket, prop spinner and prop shaft to fit the RR-1. None of these items are needed, but might be nice to have.
