My name is Sarah Mellman. I have been reborning for over 6 years now. I adore what I do. I feel so blessed being able to bring these sweet dolls to life. I love watching them come to life one layer at a time. By the time they are done its like they could take a breath of air and come to life. She is so Beautiful!

Introducing Prototype Sophie sculpted by the very talented artist, Nicole Russell. Sophie was produced by Truborns in the highest quality vinyl available. To get your blank vinyl kit go to Truborns and get your sweet Sophie ordered.

I was given the privilegedto bring this beautiful baby to life. She was painted with many layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints over several days. To me she has a sweet Asian look about her. So I painted her to reflect that coloring. She has a protective finish over her paint to keep her in the best condition possible. Her lips and nails were gently glossed to give them a realistic look. She was rooted with 2 colors of super soft Angora Goat Mohair one hair at a time over several long days. Her hair was glued from the inside so it can be gently wet down, combed and styled.

She was filled with new tumbled glass beads, and filled with new polyester fiber fill making her so cuddly and fabulous. She has a baby powder scented smelly disc in her abdomen giving her a freshly bathed baby scent.
