This listing is for 2 Papst turntable motors. The one with the pulley or capstan on it DOES NOT WORK.There is no continuity when I use my meter on the wiring also. It could possibly be repaired or rewound. I don\'t know...The dead motor is from an Empire 598 II turntable.
P/N 953-C-101117v 4uf 60 hz
The other motor does work. My intent was to take the working motor and move the pulley from the non working one onto it.The shaft has been cut down to match the dead motor in preparation for that.The pulley on the dead motor is a press fit so it will have to be pulled off with care and proper tools (perhaps heat?).The other motor is from an Empire 298 (but remember the pulley is not on it and the shaft has been cut)
