VERY EARLY RARE HAND CARVED WOODEN STIRRUP

Up for sale, a rare antique Wooden Carved Stirrup from Chile. The metal strap shows excellent inlay on the left side, very nice detail work. Hard to come by with the inlay.
Background:
This type of wood stirrups were used by the Chilean working Cowboys known as Huaso. Some of these stirrups date back to the Colonial times.
The estate in which it comes from was EXTRAORDINARY !
This man had the RAREST OF THE RAREST
AND DID NOT SPARE ANY EXPENSE
Weighs 2.5 lbs
Condition:
There is some wood splitting-cracking on the top of the stirrup. There are areas where pieces of the wood have been bumped in small areas
still a solid beautiful piece.
Just a wonderful piece of history
