Eames Limited Edition Gold Leaf coffee table Herman Miller For Sale

Eames gold leaf and birch 50th anniversary dowel base coffee table produced by Herman Miller in 1999. This is number 492 from a limited edition of 500 issued to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the world famous home and studio of Charles and Ray Eames in Pacific Palisades, California. Includes commemorative brass plaque provided by Herman Miller. One of the very last units released. We are the original owners. Table is in excellent original condition. There is some minor discoloration and other patina in the varnish protecting the gold leaf as can be seen in the close-up photos. This is rather common with this piece. The massive top is solid brass. The dowel base hardware is solid brass as well. There are no chips or cracks. It has been in one location since new and has been treated with great respect. Will gladly help with shipping arrangements, however, buyer shall be responsible for actual packaging and shipping costs. The rate listed below is for delivery within the contiguous 48 states only. The massive brass top contributes significantly to the shipping cost and is probably best packaged separate from the table base. Will ship worldwide. Local pick -up is preferred.
