This is a Disston D-23 straight-back hand saw, 26\" long with 8 points. Based on the medallion it was made between 1911-1917.I am not a saw expert so if my description is not accurate it was not intentional.The saw has been cleaned of rust and the handle has been lightly refinished.The etch is present but very light and somewhat hard to see.The saw has not been sharpened. The blade is quite straight, no bends or kinks. I assume it will need sharpening.I did nothing in this regard.
