Introducing Corbin, the latest reborn doll from Little Darlins Nursery! A sweet sculpt from renowned artist Linda K. Smith.
My name is Rita Meese and I love to reborn dolls! All my life I have loved dolls and crafting. Now that my children are all grown and I am a great-grandmother, I have the time to pursue my dream.
Together with my husband David we have now brought over1,000 dolls to \"life.\" Our babies are loved by families and collectors all over the world. We take pride in the work we do, and only the highest quality materials are used in our babies. Our goalis to create babies of “heirloom quality” that will bring joy for many years to come.
To achieve the most realistic skin tones I use only Genesis Heat Set Paints. I do not use pre-mixed colors, but prefer to mix my own paints for each baby so that notwo are ever identical, but all have their own unique baby complexion. The paint is applied in many thin layers and each layer gets baked into the vinyl so it will never fade or peel.The creases and dimples all receive blushing for realism. Many hours are spent on each baby to get the complexion just right.
Corbin\'sskin-tonewill becreated using many layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints. The colors areblended to form just the right complexion. Several different techniques are used to bring out the depth andcolor of real skin and veining. Each layer is baked in so it will not fade or peel. Iapply blushing tothe creases and dimples to bring out her realism.
Shehas¾ limbs and a softcustom made, fully jointed, doe suede body.She isstuffed and weighted in her head, body, and limbs with fiberfill and small pellets for a very realistic feel. Sand is never used so travel overseas isno problem.
Corbinwill havea beautiful head of high quality, hand-rooted mohair. Each strand is rooted one or two strands at a time. This is a very time consuming process, but it is the only way to bring out that real looking head of hair.
Mohair requires conditioning with a spray-in conditioner as she gets her hair combed or brushed. Please read the instructions carefully. Never useplain water.
Caring for my reborn doll
Corbin\'s noseisgently opened and backed with dark felt for realism. Ipaint the eyebrows with fine delicate strokes. Eyelashes are applied to frame her beautiful eyes.
Eye colors available
A manicure and pedicure areapplied, thenglossed and sealedto complete her delicate babylook. Her adorable mouth is glossed to give that moist look.

Corbin will come home dressed inone outfit of my choosing. You may choose color preference, subject to availability. You may also choose between a sleeper or tutu ensemble with crocheted leggings and hat.
Corbin will also have a diaper, onesie, hair bow, and magnetic pacifier. Please be aware the magnets are very strong and should not be near anyone with a pacemaker. Please let us know if you do not wish to haveone. Corbin will arrive snuggledin her custom made fleece blanket.
Finally,the body is signed and numbered, and she will arrive with a reborn certificate signed by me, andcare instructions for your new baby.
Custom dolls require your information! After payment, we will contact you for your preferences, (hair color,eye color, etc.). If we do not hear from you we will have to makethe doll at our own discretion.

Custom made dolls are made to the buyers\' specifications and are made to the highest standards. The buyer chooses many aspects of the final product, such as hair, eyes, and complexion. For this reason, Little Darlins Nursery is unable to give refunds on custom made dolls.
We do, however, stand behind our product. We are proud of our dolls, of our workmanship, and we do not ship a doll until we are satisfied. We stand behind our workmanship, the materials used, and our descriptions in the items.
Ifyou arenot satisfied with the doll, please contact us with pictures highlighting the problem. If we believe this is our error, the buyer must ship the doll back to us within fourteen days upon delivery, at the buyers\' expense, with tracking numbers and delivery confirmation. We recommend purchasing postal insurance as well.
We will correct the defect to our best ability, and return the doll to you, return postage and shipping insurance paid by us.
Ready-made dolls (not custom made) are made to the highest standards. We only use new, quality materials. We strive to make a doll that will be a joy to you and last for years.
We stand behind our product. We are proud of our dolls, of our quality, and we do not ship a doll until we are satisfied. We stand behind our workmanship, the materials used, and our descriptions in the items.
Ifyou are notsatisfied with the doll, please contact us with pictures highlighting the problem. If we believe this is our error, the buyer must ship the doll back to us within fourteen days upon delivery, at the buyers\' expense, with tracking numbers and delivery confirmation. We recommend purchasing postal insurance as well.
Little Darlins Nursery will choose whether to repair or replace your doll. We will replace your doll or correct the defect to our best ability. Please allow up to thirty business days for repair or replacement. We will return the doll to you, return postage paid and insured.
This warranty is subject to s “Buyer Protection Program.”
