This helmet was issued to Cole for the 2013 and 2014 season and was retired from use after the 2014 season due to extensive use and cracking. The Phillies use their helmets for multiple seasons and only stop when they are deemed no longer usable. This was authenticated after the season as team issued as per mlb policy since they did not witness it being used but it has great use all over the helmet with some chips and a larger crack on the top.
