Jones, who would play in only seven more MLB games, finished the game 1-2, recording the final double and RBI of his career. With the Braves down 3-2 in the bottom of the ninth, Jones led off with a double, promptly scoring on Freddie Freeman’s walk-off two-run homer that gave the Braves a 4-3 victory. Jones, an All-Star in 2012, finished the season with a .287 batting average, 14 homers, and 62 RBI in only 112 games.
