Thisis a vintage Charles Grubb decoy.
It was made in the 1920\'s in Pascagoula, MS.

Thisoriginal decoy, while in well used shape,
is a great display decoy showing its handmade style.

TheGrubb name can be seen stamped on the bottom.
Mr. Grubb was born in 1848.
He spent many years making duck calls and was well known for them.

Whenhe moved to Pascagoula, he found that decoys
were a popular item and in 1920, started making them.

Thisis a rare Drake redhead and is a very nice folk art item.
