CG Conn Silver Vocabell Trumpet 1935 For Sale

This is , what I believe, a 1935 Conn Vocabell  40B trumpet. The serial number is 306919, which according to my research, makes the production year 1935. The bell is very ornate with a fancy etching. The bell is marked “C.G.Conn Ltd, Elkhart, IND, USA”. The tubes for the valves are “fluted”. The middle valve is a bit sticky, the other two work fine. It has a couple of very small dings, but nothing major. (please look carefully at the pictures). I see no damage to the bell area, just a couple of dings on the slides. The middle valve cap has some minor damage. All the slides are free.  I do not have a mouthpiece, but I can not get air to pass through the trumpet. I do not play, so my knowledge is very limited. I am selling this vintage C.G.Conn trumpet “as is” with no implied warranty.
