This bat is used as you can see. There is tape on the handle and that\'s how I received it. It\'s cracked under the tape I believe as it does give a little vibration when tapping to ground.

I hung onto this bat for years because i figured i would get Melo to sign it at a Cubs Game or Spring Training....I just never had it with me whenever I saw him. I got this years ago. I actually had 3 of his bats but this is my LAST ONE! He is very nice too so he will sign it.

I\'m sure there is not many of these out there. This would be a great bat to display and even better to get him to sign it when conventions start happening and he does an appearance. He is currently a coach for the Cubs organization right now.

You can see Carmelo\'s #14 when he was with the Padres. I believe I got this the year they went to the World Series in 1984. I got one the following year but I just sold thatand it was marked 1985. The other one I hadthat I mentioned was never used and I got that from when he was with the Cubs in 1983 (sorry but i sold that long ago). So this had to be an \'84 bat.
