A beautiful little oil on panel of Assisi,Italy by Laurenzio Laurenzi (1878-1946).Laurenzi was a native of Assisi and did numerous prints and paintings of his native landscape.The miniature (3.5\" x 5.5\") landscape is held in the artist\'s travel painting box.The painting is signed lower left and there are no marks or identification on the box but I purchased them together from an estate and am confident they\'ve always been together.The inlaid box has a belt loop on back and a small palette inside.It has compartments for paint and brushes and small latches to hold the painting in the top as a portable easel.It is also a nice way to display the painting.The painting is in very good condition with a couple of tiny areas of paint loss in the sky.The box is in good condition and appears to be missing a latch on front and something on the side (two small holes).Overall size is 4\" x 6.5\" x 1.75\" and shipping will be free.
