C. 1913 Electro Importing Co. Loose Coupler Crystal Radio w/Holtzer Cabot Phones For Sale

Here\'s an early Electro Importing loose coupler tuner crystal radio with a pair of Holtzer Cabot headphones. The loose coupler is factory made, has a single E.I. Co. slide and appears to date to the early teens. The detector stand is an E.I. Co. style stand, but it may be homemade. Does not have the knurled E.I. Co. knob that you would expect to see on an early Electro Importing detector, even an expensive one. The tuner is not wired to the detector, as you can see. The Holtzer Cabot phones also date to teens but are likely not as old as the radio. Their drivers are good, but one of the metal pins has become detached from the cord where it connects to the earpiece.Overall a neat piece of early communication history.
