BRAND NEW from 1982 Sansui G-5700 Receiver, SP-X6 Speakers, FR-D35 Turntable For Sale

For sale is an unbelievable find for fans of classic stereo equipment!For sale is a BRAND NEW Sansui set up that has been untouched in the boxes since 1982! I have to imagine this may be the only set of its kind in existence!We were cleaning out an old apartment above the garage when we came across this equipment that had been sitting in a closet for years and years and belonged to my fiancee\'s grandmother - who I am listing this setup for. This setup was original purchased by a long-deceased family member of hers who lived alone and well-off in Manhattan and I\'m told always had nice, new things. She never used this set and gave it to \"Gram\" -- who lived a much simpler lifestyle and has never much into music or material things. And so it sat in the closet for years and years. When we came across it and asked Gram about it, she asked me to sell it for her as she has no use for the stereo but could surely use the cash.And so here we are -- included is exactly what you see in the picture -- a Sansui G-5700 receiver, FR-D35 turntable, and two SP-X6 speakers. A couple of the boxes had either been opened or the tape just gave out over time -- but everything is clearly brand new in the box -- the receiver has never been opened nor has one of the speakers. The other speaker and turntable appear to ahve opened or been opened -- but, again, every piece is clearly wrapped up and new. I actually opened the packing slip to see what it was ordered -- May of 1982 in New York! This equipment has been sitting in the boxes for 33 years waiting to be opened and enjoyed!The serial numbers on the boxes are still legible -- if those make a difference to you, message me and I can provide some more information on them.I am looking to sell the entire setup for her and therefore would rather not part it out.
