Two Potter flutes made by Richard Potter (ca.1785-1800). Nearly a matched pair in two pitches! Smaller one is pitched just below Eb and the longer is pitched just below D.Mozart-era flutes made of lovely boxwood with silver keys and patented pewter plugs and tuning slides.Both are stamped Potter, Johnson's Court, Fleet Street, London.Very rare to find one of these much less these two together.Antique flutes with repairs but in good condition. Both have lined headjoints that have cracked and been repaired. One of the tuning corks has been remade in a different style but functional.Please ask questions. Lots of descriptive photos.
