$1950.00

There are numerous pics & a LOT of information to load--PLEASE bepatient. If the pics & text don\'t load for some reason please email me & Iwill email all text & pics to you. Also, any updates and/or corrections to theinformation will be listed in any text here at the very top or at the verybottom for sure & may or may not be shown in the info in the middle due tothe way I put my site together. I try very hard to give the most accurate &comprehensive information I can and this guitar--as with all instruments Isell--is offered in good faith. I am not always able to verify any or allinformation I am told by the folks I buy instruments from and occasionally Iget incorrect info given to me--I presume in good faith--by the seller. Ilike to think I usually catch the obviously incorrect info & offer correctedinfo--undoubtably there may be times inaccurate info may inadvertently be passed on by me--again in good faith. I very much appreciate any and all corrections any knowledgeable folks can help me out with. Please list sources I can use to verify if possible--opinions sent in without any references may--or may not--be added to the description if I am unable to verify the info. No one is an expert in all areas & I--like everyone else--have much to learn in many many areas. I encourage you to do your own research & come to your ownconclusions. Please feel free to ask any questions before offerding. I striveto be an honest and fair seller and to fulfill my end of the deal--all I askis for buyers to be honest and fair buyers and to fulfill their end of thedeal. This is what makes work great for ALL of us. I have accepted returns of instruments 4 or 5 times over the last 10 years due to defects I should have seen and described but inadvertently left out or overlooked for whatever reason. It is RARE for me to overlook or fail to describe and/or show a problem but IF I do miss a SIGNIFICANT problem or defect I will make it right & take care of you as best I can & be as fair to both of us as possible. I do NOT accept returns because the buyer has changed his mind about the purchase. Good luck and best wishes--hooker77 -- Memphis Johnny Leigh ( Gibson L0 LO L-0 L-O L 0 L O flat top Robert Johnson cousin vintage old antique early guitar blues jazz collectors players rare )-- PLEASE NOTE --For some reason the whole listing is showing up smaller than it should. Naturally, the shipping terms & other info is down there so we now have a very good example of what’s referred to as “the small print”. Sorry!! I’m trying to fix it—it’s driving me nuts until I get it figured out so it will display correctly. I appreciate your patience!! I can email the shipping info if you are a serious looker. Also, I noticed that in the shipping terms near the end of my listing the flat-rate shipping charge is listed at $60.00--it should say $75.00--plus insurance.-- This beautiful Pre-War vintage Flat Top Guitar is a ---- GIBSON L-O ---- ca. 1926 --— PLEASE NOTE —The original Ebony Bridge is in excellent solid condition but has started to pull up approx. 1/16\" on each end.I recommend it be removed & re-glued before playing. This is the only repair needed in order to be playable that I am aware of.THIS GUITAR HAS BEEN IN A SAFE STORAGE ENVIRONMENT \"AS IS\" FOR A LONG TIMEHere\'s a note from another very happy Gibson L-0 Owner:Q: Hi, I have this exact same guitar. Also a 1926 Tubaphone (banjo/guitar) by Vega and a 1926 Little Wonder (mandolin/banjo) by Vega. Now I know, from your photos, that my old Gibson never had a tail pin for a strap..and my bridge is just like yours, too. I haven\'t had mine too long and paid 3K plus shipping for it. I\'d like to think..our guitars are worth a LOT more!!!! Nice to see yours on here! If you want to see pix of mine, please just email me as I don\'t want pics of mine up on as I\'m not trying to sell it just yet.A: Howdy there--thank you for writing. I\'m a huge early Gibson arch top guitar fan and only in the last 5 years or so have fallen in love with Gibson flattop guitars from the late 20s and throughout the 30s in particular. These guitars are becoming more and more desirable as more & more people discover them. No, they don\'t sound like a big booming dreadnaught but instead have their own kind of Early Tone that gives me goosebumps. I\'m a real nut for Blues & absolutely love the other 1926 L-0 I\'ve kept for my own personal collection and use. This one I have for sale is way way nicer and deserves a good home with someone who will use and enjoy it. Whoever wins this instrument will be getting one of Gibson\'s best in unusually nice condition in my opinion. Yes, it needs the bridge fixed, which will take 2 cents worth of glue & clamped overnight--if I had it fixed I\'d be asking $4000.00 so this is your chance to save BIG. Best wishes my friend--Memphis Johnny
