Beautiful Flicker carving by Cork McGee, Chincoteague, VA 1992:

A great carving of a Northern Flicker made fromwood and has glass eyes. It is standing on a old piece of wood like it is feeding on insects. Very nice painting and feather details with feet that look real. The wingtips are carved wooden inserts with carved shoulder detail. A great item that is very realistic.
Signed on bottom as shown in image, Cork 92 and also has a little carving on one of the branches of some initials and 1992 that I couldn\'t photograph well.
The flicker itself is about 9 inches tall or long, the total carving with wood is 18 inches tall including the polished wood base.. Very nice details, looks alive! I see not faults at all.
