Beautiful Emco Maximat \"Super 11\" Lathe and mill combination:
$6000.00

Up for sale is an almost pristine EMCOMaximat Super 11 Lathe and mill.

I have been buying and selling Emco lathes since1980, and this is the finest Super 11 Ihave ever seen.

This machine has a truly funny history.

It was originally purchased by an Arco Engineer forhis home shop.

He never set it up. It just sat on a bench for over 20years.

He sold it to a friend who tried to turn some woodon it. It did not work well.

The machine sat on his bench covered with sawdustuntil I bought it in 2015.

I bought it, cleaned it up, and bought a millingattachment for it.

There were a couple places I had to touch the paintfrom storage rash, but aside from that this machine is original.

I looked it over well, and there is no sign of anyreal use.

The bed is shiny and unblemished. There are a few tiny dings on the ways.

The milling table has no abrasions or dings. All the parts are like new.

This is gear-driven8-speed lathe, with forward and reverse.

It has a 15 speed gear-box for feeds and threading.

The milling head came from a “Super 13”. It had never been used.

It is the 6 speed milling head.

The milling column and base came from a “Super 11”

The column had been lying down in storage, and showssome staining.

The column is fine structurally.

The lathe has a D1-4 mount which holds a 6 inch originalEmco chuck with reversible jaws.

The lathe also has a 5-C collet drawbar and noseadapter, and a couple collets.

The saddle has a sliding compound and also has amilling table.

The tail-stock is an MT-2 and has a drill chuck andlive center.

There is a travel-stop for the bed, and I have sometool holders to throw in.

This is probably the largest lathe you can buy thatwill run on 110 volt household current.

The mill is running 220volt 3 phase. I have it hooked up with a staticphase-converter so that it can on run on 220 single phase.

I am just a home shop and I don’t want to ship this.

The machine probably weighs around 450 pounds.

I recommend a pick-up truck to haul.

I will rent a fork-lift on my end to load themachine.

There is also a Butcher-block top bench with 4drawers.

The paint could use some TLC but the bench functionsfine.

This machine is set-up under power, you are welcometo inspect.

I have been buying and selling Emco for 20 years.

I know the value of this machine.

Please do not throw me any lowball offers.
